Chisapani to Nagarkot Trek – 3-Day Kathmandu Valley Hike

Day 01: Kathmandu – Sundarijal – Chisapani (2,115m) 4–5 Hours Walk

Drive approximately 35–40 minutes from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, the gateway to Shivapuri National Park . After observing the scenic waterfall and water supply system that serves Kathmandu Valley,. Day 02: Chisapani – Nagarkot (2,195m) | 7–8 Hours Walk

After breakfast, continue trekking along forest trails and rural paths. Enjoy the sounds of nature while walking through serene woodland before descending to Jhule and Chauki Bhanjyang for lunch. The trail then passes terraced farmlands and traditional villages, offering insight into local lifestyles. A gradual ascent from Kattike Bhanjyang leads to Nagarkot after a rewarding day’s walk. Nagarkot is celebrated for its Himalayan vistas, especially during sunset and sunrise.

Day 03: Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Kathmandu

Enjoy breakfast with scenic views, then drive to Bhaktapur for sightseeing. Explore the ancient courtyards, Nyatapola Temple, traditional pottery squares, and intricately carved palaces of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. After lunch, drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel in Thamel.
