Day 1: Kathmandu to Lumbini

Travel from Kathmandu to Lumbini by flight (approx. 35 minutes) or scenic drive (8–9 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening walk in the sacred garden area.

Day 2: Sacred Lumbini Exploration

Visit the holy Maya Devi Temple, marking the exact birthplace of Buddha. Explore the Ashoka Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BCE and the sacred pond (Puskarini). Spend the afternoon exploring the International Monastic Zone, where monasteries built by Thailand, Myanmar, Germany, China, Japan, and other Buddhist nations reflect diverse architectural styles and traditions.

Day 3: Tilaurakot & Kapilvastu Region

Excursion to Tilaurakot, believed to be the ancient palace complex of King Suddhodana, where Prince Siddhartha spent his early life before renunciation . Explore archaeological ruins and learn about the Shakya Kingdom. Continue visiting nearby ancient stupas and historical remains in the Kapilvastu region before returning to Lumbini.

Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 4: Devdaha & Ramagrama Excursion

Visit Devdaha, traditionally regarded as the maternal home of Queen Maya Devi. Continue to Ramagrama Stupa, one of the few original stupas believed to contain relics of Buddha that were never opened.

Return to Lumbini for evening meditation or leisure time.

Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 5: Return to Kathmandu

After breakfast, return to Kathmandu by flight or drive, concluding your meaningful Buddhist pilgrimage journey.
