Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
Take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a vibrant city in western Nepal near the Indian border. Spend the day exploring the city and preparing for the next day’s mountain flight. Overnight stay in Nepalgunj.
Day 02: Fly to Talcha Airport and trek to Rara Lake
Fly early morning to Talcha Airport, the closest airport to Rara Lake. From Talcha, trek through forests and small villages to reach the stunning Rara Lake. Overnight stay near the lake.
Day 03: Explore Rara Lake
Spend the day exploring the surroundings of Rara Lake. Enjoy boating on the lake, hike along the lakeside trails, and visit viewpoints for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Day 04: Hike inside Rara National Park
Take a scenic hike through the national park to experience its diverse flora and fauna. The park is home to rare wildlife such as musk deer, Himalayan black bear, and many bird species.
Day 05: Trek back to Talcha Airport
After breakfast, trek back to Talcha Airport while enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the trail. Overnight stay near Talcha.
Day 06: Fly to Nepalgunj then to Kathmandu
Take a flight from Talcha to Nepalgunj and then connect to Kathmandu. After arrival, enjoy a free evening in the capital city.
Day 07: Final Departure from Kathmandu
Your memorable journey to Rara Lake concludes today. Transfer to the airport for your international departure.
