Manjushree 4WD Safari Trail | 7-Day Off-Road Nepal

The Manjushree Safari Trail is a unique Kora (circumambulation) around the Kathmandu Valley, inspired by the sacred journey of Bodhisattva Manjushree, who is believed to have circumambulated the valley during his visit.

This immersive trail takes you around the entire Kathmandu Valley, covering 22 significant locations and many additional attractions along the way. The journey beautifully blends adventure and spirituality, offering a deeply meaningful experience.

Day 1

Suryabinayak

Located in Bhaktapur,The Suryavinayak Temple is one of the four popular shrines of Lord Ganesh in the Kathmandu Valley.

Ranikot 

Ranikot was an ancient fort that was built during the medieval period by King Prithvi Narayan Shah . And, the royals, especially the kings, used to come here to relax

Fulchoki

Phulchowki Dada (Hill) is the highest hill situated inside and around Kathmandu Valley at 2791 meters above sea level.

Godawari

Among holy sites of Godawari are Godawari kunda, Gauri kunda, Lav kunda & Pancha dev temples, Bishankhu Narayan temple and Naudhara Kunda.

Lakuri bhanjayng

It is an ideal picnic spot and has recently been opened for paragliding as well, so it is also s perfect place for those with an adventurous sprit

Kakani

Kakani is a beautiful and one of the most popular place nearby Kathmandu for the best mountain view. Kakani is located over 2000m above the sea level.

Surye Chaur

Suryachaur is a one of the top and very near viewpoint to see Langtang Himalayan range. On a clear day, you can see numerous peak Manaslu to Dorje Lakpa and mountain in between this range.

Shivapuri nation park

The park covers 159 square kilometers and is home to various wildlife, including Himalayan black bears, leopards, and over 300 bird species. Its dense forests, primarily consisting of pine, oak, and rhododendron trees, provide an ideal habitat for these species

Dhapdam

The hike takes you through the beautiful and picturesque landscapes of the Dhap region, with the highlight being the Dhap Dam, a magnificent man-made reservoir.

The streets of Panauti are still safe from the excessive encroachment of the travelling kind, and probably that is why it still retains much of its antique charms in the wooden buildings and the laid-back vibe around the town.
