Tsho Rolpa Trek | 8-Day Glacial Lake Trek Nepal
About This Tour
The Tsho Rolpa Trek is a spectacular journey into the remote and less-explored Rolwaling Valley, leading adventurers to the stunning high-altitude glacial lake Tsho Rolpa Lake. Surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and untouched landscapes, this trek offers an incredible blend of natural beauty, cultural encounters, and peaceful mountain wilderness far from the busy trekking trails.
Starting with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the trailhead at Chet Chet, the journey passes through charming hillside villages, terraced farmlands, and dense forests. As the trail ascends deeper into the Rolwaling Valley, trekkers are rewarded with magnificent views of Gaurishankar Himal and the surrounding snow-covered peaks.
The trek also provides a unique cultural experience as it passes through traditional Sherpa settlements such as Beding and Na Village. Here, trekkers can experience the warm hospitality of the mountain communities while witnessing ancient Buddhist traditions that have been preserved for generations. Reaching the turquoise waters of Tsho Rolpa Lake at 4,580 meters is the ultimate reward — a breathtaking moment surrounded by glaciers, rugged mountains, and pristine Himalayan serenity.
